When you have created the perfect design for your photo book pages, you can save the layout in our offline creator tools. That way, you can easily use the same layout again. You can even export your saved layouts to another computer! We will show you how to do it.
App
Our app is an easy to use, simplified version of our software. For this reason, it is not possible to save your own layouts in our app (smartphone and tablet).
Windows - offline creator tool
1. Go to the page you want to save the layout from. You can simply click on it.
2. Go to "Layouts" in the left column and click on "My layouts".
3. Click on "Save layout" at the top.
Here you can also find all of your saved layouts. Just drag the layout to the page to use it again.
How can I export my layouts to another computer?
Please note:
- In our creator tool for Windows it is only possible to save your own page layout. This is not possible for photo cover layouts.
- You can save the layout per single page and not for the whole book all at once.
- Saved layouts will only be available for a new photo book with the same orientation. This means you cannot see and use layouts from a landscape photo book for a portrait photo book.
How can I export my layouts to another computer?
Please note: You can only transfer layouts to a computer with the same operating system (Windows to Windows and Mac to Mac).

1. Take the USB stick or external hard drive to which you have exported the layouts. 2. Open our editor and go to the tab "File" and click on "Settings". 2. Select the "Advanced" tab and click on "Import my layouts". 3. A window will appear. Navigate to the location of the saved layouts file and select "Open". Your saved layouts will now be imported. |
Once the layouts are imported you can find them under "My layouts" in the offline creator tool.
Mac - offline creator tool
1. Select the page with the layout that you want to save.
2. Click on one of the "Save layout" buttons in the ribbon at the top of your screen.
- Button on the left: Save the layout of a single page
- Button on the right: Save the layout of a double page spread.
You can find your saved layouts under the tab "Layouts" in the column on the left.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to save your own layouts in our online creator tool.
