Windows- offline creator tool
To ensure that your photographs are printed as sharp and colourful as possible, our creator tools use image enhancement. This is automatically turned on within your creator tool. As soon as you insert a photo, the optimized version will be shown. Your original photo in the folder on your computer remains the same. We recommend always leaving automatic image enhancement turned on within the creator tool.
Please note: image enhancement cannot rectify out of focused images. Check your project within "Preview" when creating to ensure you will be satisfied with the final product.
Have you already enhanced your images using another program?
We then recommend that you turn off the image enhancement. You can do this for each photo individually or for your entire photo book.

Right-click on the image in your photo book and turn off the image enhancement option at the bottom by unchecking the box:

We recommend switching this option off once you have finished your book, as any images you continue to add afterwards will still be automatically enhanced.
1. Click on "photobook & page" in the ribbon at the top.
2. There you will see "Image Enhancement".
3. Click on it to see the possibility to either "Enhance all images" or "Remove all image enhancements".
If you change your mind, you can always select "Enhance all images" to apply enhancement to your entire photo book.

1. Select the image in your photo book for which you want to turn off the image enhancement.
2. Click on the "Item" menu.
3. Under "Image enhancement" you select "Remove".
You can also hold ctrl and click on the photograph in your photo book to see the same menu.
To turn off enhancement for all new photos added to the project, follow these steps:
1. Click on bonusprint in the taskbar and click on "preferences".
2. Click on "options" and uncheck the option "Enhance added photos".

We recommend switching this option off once you have finished your book, as any images you continue to add afterwards will still be automatically enhanced.
1. Click on "Product" in the taskbar.
2. Under "Image enhancement", select "Remove all enhancements".
If you change your mind, you can always select "Enhance all photos" to apply enhancement to your entire photo book.

As soon as you insert a photo, the optimized version will be shown. Your original photo in the folder on your computer remains the same. Image enhancement can be turned off for all products, except prints which can be done so during Step 3 under Extras.
Turn off image enhancement for individual images
If you do not want us to print your product with automatic image enhancement, you can turn it off by clicking on the image, selecting "Filters" in the tool menu and then selecting "Original".
Are you creating from your mobile device?
Tap your image to display the editing panel below.
Select "Filters" and tap on "Original" to turn off. Should you prefer your image with image enhancement select "Auto".
When you are happy with your chose, tap "Done" to return to your project.
Turn off image enhancement for multiple images
If your project has multiple images and you would like it printed without automatic image enhancement, you can turn it off via the top editing panel by selecting the bin icon
Should you change your mind, it can be tuned on at anytime from the same panel by selecting the wand icon
Turn off image enhancement for photo prints
You can remove image enhancement after you have uploaded and edited your prints/
When completing the 3rd step "Extras" simply uncheck the box "image optimisation" within for each size you are ordering.
Please note: You can only turn off the enhancement when ordering photo prints via our website. You cannot turn off the enhancement when ordering via our app.
