To continue, complete or simply reorder your product from another computer, please follow the step-by-step instructions below to transfer your project. You can also follow the instructions if you want to send the photo book to someone else to finish the project.
Please note: It is not possible to open a product in another tool. i.e. if you have created a photo book with our online creator tool, you cannot open it with our offline creator tool.
App
Projects that you saved in the app on your smartphone or tablet cannot be transferred to another device.
Windows- offline creator tool
Default location:
"Documents" ▸ "Bonusprint"
To copy your project, you will need to find the folder in which the project is saved and copy it from there:
1. Go to your "Documents" folder and locate the folder titled "Bonusprint".
2. Open this folder and locate the subfolder which is the name of the photo book you want to transfer to another device or send to another person.
3. Copy this entire folder to an external drive or USB stick. Ensure you have a stable connection between you device and external drive or USB stick. Any disruptions when transferring can cause issues within your photo book. You can also use websites such as WeTransfer or TransferXL to send the folder via email.
Please note: It is important that you copy the entire folder.
4. Choose another Windows computer (Windows 8 or higher) with a fast internet connection.
5. Download the offline creator tool from our website on this computer.
6. Copy the album folder from the USB stick or external drive to the computer. If you chose to send the folder via WeTransfer or TransferXL, please download the file onto your computer.
Please note: we recommend that you save it on your desktop or in your "Documents" folder, so that you can easily find it.
7. Open the offline creator tool, click on "File" ▸ "Open" and navigate to the location of your transferred album folder.
8. To open the photo book, select the .ALB file in the folder and click on "Open". You can now continue creating.
Missing fonts? If you have previously downloaded additional fonts they will need to be transferred to the new computer. Using an external drive or USB stick, copy fonts from C:\Windows\Fonts and place in the same folder on the new computer.

Keep in mind: When sending the photo book folder to another person and you wish to receive the edited/final photo book version back, the other person has to send you the whole folder as mentioned above back as well. Your photo book version on your computer will not automatically update to the new/edited version.
Mac- offline creator tool
Default location:
"Desktop"
You will need to navigate to the right folder:
1. Locate the album file, which has the name of the photobook you want to transfer.
2. Open the Finder and navigate to "Documents". You will find all your saved photo books there.
3. Copy this file to an external drive or USB stick. Ensure you have a stable connection between you device and external drive or USB stick. Any disruptions when transferring can cause issues within your photo book. You can also use websites such as WeTransfer or TransferXL to send the folder via email.
Please note: It is important that you copy the entire folder.
4. Choose another Mac (Mac OS X version 10.11 or higher) with a fast internet connection.
5. Download the offline creator tool from our website.
6. Copy the bonusprint photo book file from the USB stick or external drive to the computer. If you chose to send the folder via WeTransfer or TransferXL, please download the file onto your other computer.
Please note: we recommend that you save the file to your desktop or your documents, so that you can easily find it.
7. Open the offline creator tool, click on "File" in the menu bar and select "Open".
8. Navigate to the location of your transferred album folder, double-click on the file and it will automatically open in the offline creator tool.

4. Copy this entire folder from your external drive or USB stick to the desktop of your Mac.
5. Open the bonusprint creator tool, click on "File" in the title bar and choose "Import Windows photo book".
6. A window will open where you can select the photo book folder on your desktop to import the photo book to the Mac program. Click "Import" and our program will complete the task!
Online creator tool
Default location:
"My account" ▸ "My saved projects"
Photo books that you create in the online creator tool are saved in your account. You can access your account on any computer with a stable internet connection. Keep in mind that only one person can work on the book at a time and that it is not possible to work on the book from different devices at the same time.
Simply navigate to your saved projects to open your photo book and continue creating!
If you want another person to work on the project with you, simply forward your log-in details to your bonusprint account. They can find the saved project in My saved projects.
